Date of shoot: 14th April 2012
Well, it’s been a week since I met Amelie and I’m so glad to have had a chance to look through her photos and make something of some of them. I still want to work on the under_WEAR shots (and get rid of the green screen!), but I’m posting for now as she’s waited long enough!
As always, a big THANK YOU to her for getting involved with my projects. She’s a super young lady who was a joy to work with. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation too
Me again, folks…
I’ve been lucky enough to find another (anonymous) model to pose for Spring Awakening and my first for bodypARTs – hurrah!
Take a look and let me know what you think of these contributions to both projects…

After a very unsettling afternoon, I was lucky enough to meet up with Jazmin last week and we spent a super evening together shooting some fun shots. Thanks, Jazmin!
It was my first time shooting with my black and white backdrops too, so there’s still things to learn – I don’t reckon they came out too badly though…
You know how sometimes you just want to do it? It’s not what you planned, but the circumstances conspire against you and you just have to go with the flow?
These are all the photographs that ‘just happened’ on my shoots – unscripted, but inspired.
More on the THE>moment Project Page…
The human body is the most beautiful machine in the world and nothing flatters it quite like underwear.
Enough mystery to keep it intriguing, whilst allowing the honest beauty to shine.
More on the under_WEAR Project Page…
Sometimes it’s so nice to be in a couple. Cosy. Comfortable. Snuggly.
And sometimes it’s so hot to be in a couple. Touch. Kiss. Fuck.
Sometimes there’s a healthy friction too. Argue. Fight. Make-up.
[couplesTHERAPY] provides the opportunity to open your relationship to the world, to share your intimacy and show why it works for you…
Well, hello everyone – it’s been a wee while, so I thought I’d give you an update on what I’ve been up to!
Have had an absolutely awesome weekend, working with three different models: Jazmin, Amelie and Maya. A big THANK YOU to all of the girls for giving up their time – as always, hugely appreciated. I’m currently working my way through a swathe of photos and will have them up for viewing soon – watch this space!
I’ve also realised that I have not mentioned three of my projects anywhere on the blog, so it’s time to rectify that situation right now (check out the separate blog posts) !
So, there you have it – you’re all up-to-date, but there’s also much to come!
I’ll be in touch,
… is you!
Hi there! Thanks for dropping by and reading my post – nice to ‘meet’ you
I’m Sam, an amateur photographer working on a number of exciting projects and looking to fill my unusually free time this coming Saturday and Sunday with wonderful volunteer models.
I’ve got a room booked (at a hotel in Canary Wharf) and it will be setup with all of the equipment we need. All I need then is a friendly model to come and work with me…
Details of my projects are on my website: http://www.contrastingemotions.org/ – or I’m happy to work on any of your ideas too. For me, it’s all about the experience and enjoying the shoot and I like to think this comes across in the images I capture.
This is a TF project, but you will naturally get copies of all of the shots. Whether you’re just starting out or experienced, but wanting to try something new then please get in touch. I’ll be there all day, so early morning, afternoon and evening sessions are all up for grabs – see, there’s no excuse!
Drop me a line and let me know when you’re free and what you would like to collaborate on. I’m regularly on e-mail, so you can expect a quick reply: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hope to hear from you soon,

Blimey, what a week!
I was fortunate enough to had some photography equipment donated to me last week, so for my shoot with Lily I said “hey, let’s play with the green screen and see what happens”.
Boy, does that lead to a lot of post-shoot work!
I normally like to try and get my photos out to models in the next day or two, but it’s been almost a week this time – apologies, Lily!
There’s some cool stuff there though – I actually quite like some of the effects you can get when you play around. I’m sure Lily will hate some of the more colourful ones though – again, apologies!
I’ve obviously been ‘experimenting’ with GIMP as I’ve done this, so forgive me if some are a little too ‘creative’…
As always, a big shout out and thank you to my model who willingly gave her time and space, a pleasure and a joy to work with
Drop me a line and let me know what you think,
